Sahcho - Grizzly Bear

from CA$60.00

Sahcho translates to “Grizzly bear” from Tłı̨chǫ Yatıì, the language of the Tłı̨chǫ First Nations in the Northwest Territories.

In this awe-inspiring large oil painting, measuring 32x40, a magnificent grizzly bear strides across the canvas with a commanding presence.

Colorful transparent glaze layers in the background create an impression of the sprawling taiga landscape, evoking the wild and untamed beauty of nature. The bear's fur is rendered with each stroke capturing the gleaming light and revealing the texture and depth of its coat. The play of light and shadow adds a sense of realism and vitality to the painting, enhancing the bear's powerful presence.

This oil painting transports the viewer into the heart of the wilderness, inviting them to witness the majesty of the grizzly bear and immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural world.

The original oil painting is sold, but both canvas prints and limited edition giclée prints are available.

Canvas prints are 16x20 or 18x24, or 24x30. Framing in dark or light wood is available.

Giclée prints are professionally printed on fine archival paper and matted:

•  8x10 prints are matted to 11x14

•  11x14 prints are matted to 16x20

•  16x20 prints are matted to 18x24
